Playing with Death
This photographic series reimagines childhood destruction through the lens of forensic investigation. By staging discarded and broken toys as crime scenes—complete with evidence markers and police tape—the work explores the inevitable cycle of play, destruction, and abandonment that defines our relationship with childhood objects. The juxtaposition of innocent playthings with the serious visual language of criminal investigation creates a darkly humorous commentary on the "violence" inherent in child's play, while simultaneously evoking nostalgia for toys that once held our deepest affection before meeting their inevitable fate.
