Nostalgic Self Portraits

This conceptual art series explores celebrity culture and media representation by recreating iconic pop culture moments with myself cast as every character. Through elaborate costume changes and set recreation, the project examines how oversaturation of a single face can manufacture celebrity status, revealing the mechanics behind fame construction in our media-saturated world. The work functions as both performance art and social commentary, using vanity and repetition to critique how celebrity culture reduces diverse human experiences to a handful of recognizable faces while questioning the relationship between visibility and cultural significance.
